Recycling

Our sanitation service (American Disposal Services - ADS) collects recyclables from your curb on Fridays. They pick up newspapers, aluminum, #2 plastic bottles, and glass placed in the green American Disposal Services recycling bin. To request a green recycling bin, call 703-368-0500.

Batteries and used motor oil are accepted at the City of Fairfax drop-off center at 3410 Pickett Road. Recyclables are accepted during daylight hours. For further details, call the Recycling InfoLine at 703-324-5052 and access message "3."
