Minutes
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Carriage Lawn at Barkley Homeowners Association in Executive Session was convened at Fairhill Elementary School at 7:30 pm.
Attendance:

Absent:

Old Business:
The Board heard a presentation from representatives of the Koger Management Corporation to provide community management services for the Association. The Board asked a number of questions and discussed portions of Koger’s proposal with the Koger officials.
Recess
At 8:45 pm, the Board agreed to recess until 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2004 to continue consideration of community management providers.
The Board reconvened in Executive Session
The Board reconvened in Executive Session at 7:30 pm on October 21 at the Fairhill Elementary School to continue consideration of community management providers.
The Board heard a presentation from a representative of Hadrian Management Corporation to provide community management services for the Association.
The Board heard a presentation from Bob Elks of Small Community Services to continue providing community management services for the Association. The Board engaged in an extended dialogue with Mr. Elks over the shortcomings of SMS services during the preceding months.
Mr. Manson moved that Board accept Koger Management’s proposal to provide community management services, subject to Koger’s agreement to incorporate provisions in the management agreement relating to the assignment of the Association’s Community Manager. Kris Murthy seconded the motion.
During the discussion, each Board member indicated that Koger was clearly the best choice.
Vote: Unanimous.
