Minutes
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Carriage Lawn at Barkley Homeowners Association in Executive Session was convened at Fairhill Elementary School at 7:30 pm.
Attendance:
Manoucher Nayeri, Vice President
Kris Murthy, Treasurer
Marshall Manson, Secretary
Absent:
Bill Perrelli, President
Carol Mallory, Director
Old Business:
Marshall Manson reported that under the Board’s instructions and supervision, he prepared an RFP for Community Management Services and distributed it to 12 management companies that he identified using public sources. In response, the Board received four proposals.
The Board considered proposals to provide management services submitted by Koger Management Company, Armstrong Management Company, Small Community Services, and Hadrian Management Company.
The Board agreed to invite Koger and SMS to make presentations to the Board in October. The Board also agreed to invite Hadrian, subject to the company’s agreement to reduce its bid.
The Board decided Armstrong’s proposal did not merit further consideration due to its high bid.
Marshall Manson was directed to communicate the Board’s wishes to each of the bidders.
Kris Murthy and Manoucher Nayeri were directed to contact the references provided by Koger and Hadrian and report back to the Board.
